Yellowstone Stagecoach Self-drive Safaris

From horse-drawn stagecoaches to Tesla Full Self-Driving — our story spans more than a century at the very same location.

In 1915–1916, the historic Jackson Hole Playhouse was built as the Deloney Garage and livery stable for the Yellowstone Stage Company. Local cowboys hitched teams of six horses here for the rugged 60-mile journey into Yellowstone National Park — America’s first national park. You can still see traces of that original garage today.

Since 1978, our family has continued this legacy as trusted outfitters and guides in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Now, we’re writing the next chapter: Yellowstone Stagecoach Self Drive Safaris.

Guests start their day with an early-morning pickup of a Tesla equipped with Full Self-Driving at the Playhouse. They enjoy a full-day autonomous self-drive safari through the parks, guided by our custom app featuring:

• GPS-triggered audio narration drawn from nearly 50 years of professional guiding expertise
• Exclusive owner-sourced 8K aerial footage of every geyser, thermal basin, canyon, and iconic landmark (pre-recorded for full NPS compliance)
• AI-powered real-time animal identification for safety alerts and educational insights on bison, bears, elk, moose, and more

In the evening, guests return the Tesla to the Playhouse and cap the day with dinner and a Western show — completing a seamless, unforgettable experience.
